Check
Collection and Recovery, Inc. was started after realizing that a variety of
public and private businesses, organizations, utilities, and state and local
governments were using only a fraction of the electronic collection technology
and automation available to reduce their cost of collecting returned
checks. The collection process of NSF and Returned checks through CCR's
electronic solutions and traditional methods are in place to reduce excess
banking fees and accelerate a business's cash flow, which both have a positive
impact on the bottom line. By taking advantage of new Federal Reserve
Regulations and using new state of the art technology, our electronic processing
services are focused on replacing an organization's present manual check
collection process, whether it is done in house or already outsourced.
Electronic payments are transactions within the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network, an electronic payment system linking more than 12,000 financial institutions and 2.5 million business organizations across the United States. The ACH Network is commonly used for direct deposit of payroll and Social Security payments, direct payments of consumer bills and corporate payments. The Operating Rules of the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) specify the formats for ACH transactions and define the rights, obligations and warranties of parties involved in ACH transactions. In 2000, more than 6.2 billion ACH transactions, valued at over $19.4 trillion, were transmitted through this network. CCR uses a new collection technique called RCK method. RCK is the re-presentment of NSF checks by conversion of the paper check to an ACH/EFT (electronic funds transfer) item.
CCR currently has up to a 90+% collection rate on our electronic and traditional methods combined. The merchant is paid 100% of the face value of the original check, plus to help offset any banking or other fees incurred a $5.00 reimbursement per check collected is also paid back to the merchant. The best part of our program is the bad check writer pays for all of the costs and fees.
Our goal and focus is to collect the merchant's money in the absolute fastest time possible. Our business is conducted with the highest integrity and exemplary client service. We also offer our customers 24/7 access via the Internet so they can monitor everything we do, because after all, it is our client's money. Perhaps the best part about the service we provide to you is that we only get paid when you get paid, so we are always motivated to do our job.
